Synthetic demo data— every figure is generated by the engine the product runs, not taken from a customer.

Built for the people who own software spend.

One portfolio: concurrent, named-user and token licences, SaaS seats, AI tools and subscriptions. Engineering software, read the way FlexNet, RLM, DSLS and Sentinel meter it, is a named strength within that portfolio, not the whole of it.

  • SAM and ITAM

One portfolio view with the evidence behind every figure.

  • Procurement

A defensible position before the renewal conversation starts.

  • Finance

Spend, opportunity and risk stated as facts, estimates or recommendations.

  • CIO office

Decisions with an owner, a rationale and an outcome, not a dashboard.

  • Engineering leaders

Concurrent, named-user and token licensing read the way engineering tools actually meter it.

What it produces

  • Optimization signals
  • Renewal positions
  • Capacity decisions
  • Reclaim opportunities
  • Demand forecasts
  • Scenarios
  • Evidence-backed recommendations
  • Executive decision records

Every figure says what kind of figure it is, so a recommendation is never mistaken for a fact.

Fact
Imported as supplied. Traceable to a row in a file.
Inference
Derived from imported data by a stated method.
Model
An estimate under stated assumptions. Labelled as such wherever it appears.
Recommendation
A position the engine proposes, with its evidence and confidence attached.

From imported rows to a decision with an owner.

Followed on one position from the synthetic demo organization: Ansys Mechanical, 400 licences entitled, renewing in 58 days. Each step says what ships today and what does not.

  1. 01See the portfolio

    Every position, with its provenance.

Import the usage, entitlement, contract and people exports you already have. Each row is mapped, reviewed and stored with where it came from, and the portfolio shows what you own, what is used and what it costs.

  2. 02Understand the signal

What deserves attention, ranked and explained.

The engine raises signals — cost, renewal, capacity, reclaim, forecast — scored by financial impact, urgency and confidence in the data beneath them. Each position opens to its evidence record from its detail page.

  3. 03Make the decision

A position you can defend before the renewal.

Signals become decisions with a proposed action, an approver and a rationale. The renewal workspace shows the cost bridge, the line items and a printable negotiation brief; the Scenario Lab shows what changes if the assumptions do, and keeps the scenarios you name.

  4. 04Record the outcome

What was decided, by whom, and what happened.

A decision is only defensible if its record survives the signal that raised it. Every change to a decision is written to an append-only history, and a decision is closed with the outcome that was actually reached.

What the engine raises.

OptiSight ranks what deserves attention by financial impact, urgency, capacity risk, and confidence in the underlying data. These five are the engine’s own output on the synthetic demo portfolio, exactly as the product lists them.

Required for production launch

OptiSight License Collector

In development for launch

Continuous capture from FlexNet, RLM, DSLS and Sentinel is a core production capability being completed for launch.

A service you install inside your network. It polls each licence server with that manager’s own status tooling and delivers observations outbound; nothing connects inward. Not available in the current pilot; launch waits on it.

Post-launch

Direct connections

Planned

Broader SaaS, ITSM, identity, procurement and data-platform integrations will follow the initial launch.

  • Microsoft 365
  • Google Workspace
  • Salesforce
  • Jira
  • Slack
  • GitHub Enterprise
  • SaaS admin exports
  • ServiceNow / SAM
  • Procurement systems
  • HR systems
  • SQL Server
  • Snowflake
  • Databricks

None of these is implemented, and no OAuth or API path exists. Today, exports from these systems come in as files through File imports.

Advisory services, on your own data.

The platform produces the evidence. When a renewal, a portfolio review or a board question needs a person behind the position, OptiSight Global offers advisory engagements scoped around your imported data. Each is an offering, described plainly; none carries a promised result.

See the services
  • License optimization advisory

A reviewed position on each material agreement: what is used, what is over-provisioned, what to reclaim first.

  • Renewal readiness

The evidence, the alternatives and the brief prepared before the vendor conversation, with your own data.

  • Portfolio review

A structured read of the whole estate — coverage, spend concentration, capacity risk and data gaps.

  • Negotiation preparation

Demand-backed quantities, the cost bridge and the assumptions behind them, so the position holds under questioning.

  • Opportunity validation

A modelled opportunity checked against the observations it rests on, and the confidence stated plainly.

  • Executive decision support

The decision, its owner and its rationale, presented for a steering committee or a CIO review.
